All of our cheeky cocoa beans are rich with nutrients and ethically sourced. We turn the cheeky cocoa into delicious chocolate and combine them with ‘Party Personality’: a.k.a: Infusions and inclusions.
Our infusions are natural oils and inclusions are anything from candied fruit to delicious clotted cream fudge, all from the UK! Our rule is natural ingredients only to ensure all chocolate can start with healthy beginnings from bean to bar.

So how is the chocolate made?
Our cocoa beans are sourced from our incredible farmers in the Ivory Coast, based in Western Africa. Our partners, Cocoa Horizons work to improve cocoa farmer prosperity to ensure that all cocoa is ethically produced. The beans are fermented, dried, cleaned and processed to create our dreamy chocolate.
Transporting ourselves across to the UK where we take the ethical chocolate and start a method called ‘tempering’. This is where the chocolate is melted at different temperatures to form our Resident Pheasant bars.
Depending on whether it’s dark, milk or white depends how the chocolate is made! Our dark bars are tempered at 55°C, whereas the Milk and White chocolate is melted at around 40-45°C.
So how do you give it attitude?
We mix the chocolate with 100% natural infusion oils to ensure you experience a taste sensation where you’ll just want. Those of you who have tried our Dark Mint will know exactly the feeling! The mixture is poured into ‘chunky’ style moulds which allow Resident Pheasant chocolate bars that beautiful depth and melt in the mouth texture you all love.
We scatter the chocolates with the natural ingredients giving it the attitude, crunch and delicious bite that’s needed. For example, our Dark Raspberry has real, tangy raspberry pieces and include exactly the perfect amount for all those berry lovers.
Finally, your chocolate bars are then encased in our eco-friendly bags and outers to keep your chocolate fresh without causing harm to our planet.
